Open Sky Pilot is the first step toward sky. The student learn how to install and control the wing on the ground and have the first solo flight experience. At this level, the student is allowed to fly only with radio communication under Instructor’s supervision.
Adventure Pilot is a paragliding student capable of flying from the take off to the landing zone in stable weather conditions, in altitude gliding. At this level, the student is still allowed to fly only with radio communication and under Instructor’s supervision.
Pilot is a student who has achieved the level of independent, solo Pilot. He is able to fly without supervision, analyze different weather conditions, have necessarily a specialty in alpine and soaring.
The Tandem Pilot rating is the first step to become Professional. During training, candidates review their practical flying ability, general procedures, paragliding knowledge and safety related issues. Tandem Pilots are allowed to fly only for non-commercial flights.
